Spartacus is a "spokes-turtle" for Little RES Q...and she's a Red-Eared Slider, just like Tamara! She's 20 years old (and will live another 20 or more years!) and she's 7 pounds (not typical for a Red-eared Slider at all!)...
We had a wonderful time at the Canadian Pet Expo with Little RES Q this past weekend!

Thank you to the Canadian Pet Expo for giving us a chance to perform a reading of the book on a fantastic stage (and thank you Safari Jeff for the use of and help with your equipment). And thank you Gillian and Kevin for helping me sell the books - all proceeds from the launch went to Little RES Q. An extra thank you to Kevin for running back and forth between the kids, showing the pictures as I read the book on Saturday!
