If you're looking around on YouTube, you can check out clips for some of Triple Take's (my production company) short films, a trailer for our feature film, and even a scene from one of our plays (from the original 2002 production)! Search for: Sketch TV, Watching Mr. Body, The Paradise Lust Romance Series, Space Zombies 1, 2, and 3, and/or Space Zombies: 13 Months of Brain-Spinning Mayhem!, and The Scary Bitch Project! The lovely photo to the left is from Space Zombies: Terror from the Sky! (act one of Space Zombies: 13 Months of Brain-Spinning Mayhem!). And don't forget to rent and buy the Space Zombies feature film on iTunes (under "horror"). The closed captioned version should be live very soon!

The trailer for “Space Zombies: 13 Months of Brain-Spinning Mayhem!” has been posted on YouTube! This is part of the preparation for the new Triple Take website, which I hope will be up in a few weeks. Check out the trailer for “Space Zombies” for free (on YouTube or preview in iTunes), and then rent it, or even better, buy it! Tell your B-Movie loving, comedy-horror obsessed friends, and then tell all your so-called 'normal' friends and family!
Please note that “Space Zombies” will be down from iTunes briefly in order to get its closed captions done, but it will be up and live again ASAP. Enjoy our fun-filled trailer in the mean time. And for those of you who like novelizations/adaptations, “Space Zombies” is coming out as a novelette in the coming weeks as well. You can even purchase a paperback version of the feature film script on Lulu. There’s no single right way to enjoy a Space Zombies invasion. It can be appreciated on the page or on the screen! ;) Check out my mini-interview on Alfie Dog "Bites"!
As always, I'd love for you to check out/download my two stories available at Alfie Dog - The Kiss (a fantasy/fairytale for adults - but not erotica by any stretch!), and Jason and Jake (a short story for young children). And for all those authors out there, what follows is Alfie Dog Limited's press release for their exciting new short story competition:
To mark its second birthday Alfie Dog Fiction is launching its International Short Story Prize. The first prize will be £200 AND publication of the author’s short story collection, with editorial support for completion where necessary. The book will be available as both an ebook and paperback and the author will receive 5 complimentary copies of the paperback as well as royalties on all further sales. Alfie Dog Fiction prides itself on bringing quality short stories to a wider audience, with all submissions being subject to editorial review, and where necessary editing, before publication. Over the two years since the creation of its website www.alfiedog.com has grown to represent over 300 authors around the world with more than 1300 stories in multiple electronic formats. It also publishes a range of single author and multi-author collections in both ebook and paperback forms and a limited range of novels. Individual stories sell for as little as 39p. Founder and editor, Rosemary Kind says, “We have always sought to encourage new writing talent as well as supporting our better known authors. Offering a writing prize is a natural progression from our philosophy of encouraging reading and writing of short stories.” The competition which closes on 30th September is open to any writers over the age of 18 writing in English. The entry fee is simply to download five paid stories, by different authors, from the site. Writers then submit one of their own stories, but, unlike the usual submission requirements of Alfie Dog Fiction, it must be a work that is previously unpublished and between 1000 and 2000 words. Full details of the competition can be found on www.alfiedog.com/competitions |
