The best children's books tell a good story while also teaching readers. Regan W.H. Macaulay succeeds in accomplishing both of these things in "Merry Myrrh the Christmas Bat." Children will be captivated by the story of this unique main character and his family. The book will also stir compassion in young readers as they see how the human family in the story handles Myrrh's plight. The educational information and activity pages at the back of the book are a huge plus for engaging children. I highly recommend this special book!
