New illustrator for "Tamara Turtle's Life So Far"

Javier Duarte is the new illustrator for my picture book, Tamara Turtle's Life So Far, to be published this year by Mirror Publishing! Check out his wonderful artwork HERE. I hope to "reveal" some of his artwork and/or the cover for Tamara prior to its publication, so be sure to check back.

And don't worry, Kevin Risk is still illustrating for me! He needs to focus on one project - Mixter Twizzle's Breakfast, to be published by Mirror World Publishing in late 2018.

"Hammy Hamster" article in the Toronto Star

I wanted to post about and link to a recent article about the whole history of Hammy Hamster - from "Tales From the Riverbank" (1959) to "Hammy Hamster's Adventures on the Riverbank" (1972 - syndicated in the early 80s, which is when people my age first watched the show when we were little) to the most recent version, "Once Upon A Hamster" which I was privileged to work on as one of the Animal Wranglers and as the specially designated Animal Care Specialist during Season 3!
