Kev and I have produced a book trailer for my picture storybook, Beverlee Beaz the Brown Burmese! Check it out on YouTube! Also, don't forget about the Pubslush crowdfunding campaign coming May 4th...more info to come. The book itself should be published in June or July or so, with a launch in Toronto to follow. Stay tuned!
I will be launching a crowdfunding campaign to help cover expenses associated with launching and promoting my very first storybook, Beverlee Beaz the Brown Burmese (illustrated by Alex Zgud). I hope to cover the costs of a book launch in June or September, possible vending fees at FringeKids for two Sundays in July, and the costs associated with renting a booth and advertising with Word on the Street (this September 27th at Harbourfront Centre), among other odds and ends.
Head on over to BeverleeBeaztheBrownBurmese.pubslush.com to see what I've got so far, and to learn more about “Beverlee Beaz the Brown Burmese” and the crowdfunding campaign! There are many incentives to donate. For example, for $5 you will receive a a personalized thank you email and a thank you on the campaign page and other social media platforms. For $50 you will receive a signed bookmark, a Beverlee T-shirt (in kids sizes), and a copy of the book! And there are several other options.
You can also check out some of the artwork from the book, and soon, you can watch the book trailer I've been working on!
Kit is an Emerald Hopper Frog that I adopted from the Canadian Pet Expo (Port Credit Pets) on Easter weekend.
And just barely in time for Easter, I'm posting about my friend Shannon Mercer's latest children's picture storybook, Every Bunny's Different!
Bryn the bunny doesn't hop like all the other bunnies she knows. Embarrassed, she won't hop in front of anyone. But one day she learns an important lesson about embracing differences. Join Bryn in this story of acceptance as she learns that every bunny's different.
