I found this when digging around looking for something else (isn't that always the way) - a business card from when I worked at Hammytime III Productions. I was one of the Animal Wranglers and also the Animal Care Specialist for Season 3 of Once Upon a Hamster (1997), a reboot of the live action/animal series for children called Tales from the Riverbank (1950s in UK, 1970s in Canada). Good memories and a great little series for children! I wrote about the experience a little bit in my article for children, Animal Actors (published in the Winter 2011 issue of R.E.A.L.: The Canadian Kids' Magazine - currently moving from a print to online format).
This is the artwork for my production company's new logo! The artwork is by Alex Zgud and you can see more of her work here.
Looking forward to when TTP's new website is ready! Kevin La of Kevllar is working on the redesign and it's going to be great!
Space Zombies! is a novelette or novella adaptation of the feature film Kevin Risk and I co-wrote and produced, Space Zombies: 13 Months of Brain-Spinning Mayhem!
I've just completed Chapter 5 of the very first draft, and hope to crank out Chapters 6 & 7 tonight! Still got a long way to go - there will be about 25 chapters (though I admit that most of them will be short), plus a prologue and an epilogue (featuring the narrative of Moral Man, for those of you who know him).
This is proving to be a fun side-project while I continue to work on my series of novels for middle-grade readers. I hope readers will enjoy the quirky style, once it's out there for the world to read!
I wanted to give a shout-out to Alfie Dog Limited, an indie e-publisher. They are so very supportive of new and established authors, and as is the issue with many independent publishers, they are struggling at the moment. You can download short stories, often for as little as 0.39 pounds and you can also download novels. Everything is reasonably priced and you'd be making a huge difference! You can download my short story for young children (about 3-6, if you're reading to them), "Jason and Jake" for the very low price of 0.39 pounds (around 60 or 70 cents), as well as my story for adults, "The Kiss". Give some struggling writers and an indie publisher your support! Check out all the great authors and stories HERE.
